PAYE Contract

Working within Sonsub's ROV Operations department, the successful Structural Engineer will be responsible for:

• Structural design, and project engineering, for the mobilisation of ROV launch and recovery systems, (including support for Class approval)
• Design of structural components for ROV systems
• Delivery of structural design reports
• Supervision of draughting
• Critical review of third party designs
• Candidates will need to support on-site activities as and when required.

As a Structural Engineer you should have the following experience:

• Degree-qualified (MEng) Naval Architect / Structural Engineer
• Work experience in a similar position
• Minimum of five years' experience in an offshore-related role

Software skills:

• Draughting: AutoCAD (Inventor preferred)
• Finite element analysis: STAAD.Pro (Nastran preferred)
• Hand calculation: Mathcad
