Civil Project Engineer Overview of the role

My client is looking to bring in a proven, dynamic and self-sufficient Project Engineer who is experienced in delivering schemes of work specialising in Water Projects in varying size. The candidate will be expected to work alongside the Project Managers, and existing team to deliver these projects both from the office and from site. It is a unique role where flexibility will always be considered.

Civil Project Engineer The responsibilities of the role

• Support in the project management and delivery of Water projects from outline scope to the completion of the construction stage.
• Scoping of all necessary site investigation works and initial surveys to assist design and construction.
• Stakeholder / third party management to facilitate accurate programming of works.
• Interface with multi discipline designers and Contract Engineers where appropriate (Structural, Electrical, Civil and Mechanical Design) both internal and external.
• Production of operational construction stage documentation.
• Attendance at design, progress and site meetings as required.
• Engagement and communications with Clients as part of project delivery
• Engagement with and management of relevant Sub-Contractors through site investigation, design and construction stages
• An understanding of sustainable development with a drive and commitment to support the companies' commitments.
• An understanding of NEC 4 Contractual requirements.

Civil Project Engineer - Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience of infrastructure project delivery
• Awareness and understanding of CDM
• Appropriate Qualifications
• Demonstrates an understanding of what makes an effective team, the value of diversity, the strengths and skills of others and actively support team objectives
• Prioritise objectives to ensure tasks are met to specific deadlines. Prepared to ask for support from colleagues where necessary
• Work effectively as a team and individually to meet organisational objectives
• Excellent organisational skills, ability to multitask and client service focused
