Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer

I am looking to speak with a Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer, situated within the Warrington area with a civil or geology design background, highly numerical to work for one of the largest design consulates in the world, on some of the most challenging projects the globe has to offer.

You will come in as a Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer, situated within an award winning geotechnical design team within a multi-disciplinary environmental delivering projects across a range of sectors including rail, highway, tunnelling, on/offshore renewables and nuclear.

Your Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer responsibilities will surround management and technical lead on projects. Your technical delivery will surround managing small design teams by solving extremely complex problems with sustainable and numerical solutions using geotechnical and FE software.

Geotechnical designs including all but not limited to, preparing calculations, drawings and other documents relating to all foundation types, temp/permanent works, retaining walls/structures, slopes, soil nails, piles, earthworks, embankments etc.

Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer Specification

Civil background coupled with a Geotechnical MSc
MICE or CGeol
5 years UK consultancy Geotechnical Engineer design experience
Experience leading design packages.
Experience mentoring junior geotechnical engineer.
Ideally experience within rail or highways although other sectors are considered.
Geotechnical software experience
Ideally FE experience
