Mechanical Engineer - Water
* Required for leading contractor working on large-scale projects for Thames Water;
* Award-winning contractor
* Projects across the Thames Water region
SSA are currently recruiting for Mechanical & Electrical Project Engineers to join a leading contractor working on their 5-year AMP7 Thames Water framework delivering complex MEICA projects across the region valued at up to £40m.
This contractor has a number of schemes in their pipeline that will see the successful engineers' duties including:
* Coordination of design, procurement, subcontract packages of work, DfMA/OSB, comissioning & handover processes;
* Ensuring high-level HSEQ standards;
* Maintaining a site-presence during construction phases
* Programme and budget coordination including deviations from the plan;
* Technical oversight on the projects;
* Close liaision with design and comissioning teams;
* Liaising with and coordinating site teams

Essential:
* Degree or other qualification within Mechanical Engineering
* Experience within Mechanical Engineering within the Water, Utilities Pharmaceutical, Food, or Industrial sectors
