Do you have experience in conducting electrical load calculations and working on projects where you have estimated a building future energy requirements?

In this role you will be working with the decarbonisation team. In this varied role you will be involved with identifying electrical loads within building, load requirement post decarbonisation, calculating electrical loads with renewable energy types such as heat pumps, looking at solar pV system to ensure existing systems are suitable, supplying technical information if they are not suitable.

Key areas of in the life cycle of decarbonisation of the building is engaging with the DNO to establish cost of upgrades. Understanding what the requirements are, doing surveys on building, working with contracts and putting together tender bids.

The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting electrical load calculations and working on projects where you have estimated a building future energy requirements. You will also have some knowledge of renewable energy technologies.

*Have an electrical background.
*Have been involved in a building services role.
*Has been involved with Design and calculations.
*Ability to offer knowledge of electrification.
