I am currently recruiting on behalf of a key client based in the Northwest of England, who are specialist engineering and project house within the chemical & process industry. They are looking for an experienced Civil Design Engineer on a 6 - 12-month contract.

The successful civil design engineer will be required to conduct the following duties:

Modelling civils works and foundations to equipment layouts and models and site sketches.
Creating RC details.
Develop BOMs at FEED and procurement stages.
Produce Layouts and GA's.
Drive model reviews and have an ability to create and keep up to date, the federated model when Civil & Structural is the lead discipline.
Site Survey's - ability to undertake detailed site surveys of existing works.
The successful design engineer will need to have the following attributes:

v Revit

v AutoCAD

v Autodesk Recap

v Navisworks Manage

v Knowledge of UK building regulations

v Understanding of drainage design
