Our Client, a Major international Oil and Gas, design and construction contractor is seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join their 2023 Graduate intake scheme based in their Surrey offices.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
* Recent graduate with a 2.1 or above degree in relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Naval Architecture, Geotechnical, Structural or similar)
* You will ideally but not essentially have had some experience working within an engineering organisation
SCOPE OF WORK:
Our Client is one of the largest turnkey Engineering & Construction contractors in the Oil and Gas sector with a proven track-record over many years, and increasingly growing within the Renewable Energy Sector as well. This organisation operates a prestigious fleet of vessels for offshore construction in shallow and deep water. These include Heavy lift vessels & large transportation barges for installing/removing topsides, jackets and large Windfarm components, Pipelay vessels for installation of rigid / flexible pipelines, umbilical's & cables, construction vessels for subsea trenching & subsea structures installation.
Our Client is actively expanding their capability in engineering and construction within the renewables sector (offshore wind farms).
They are currently looking for high calibre graduates, either Fresh Graduates or ideally with some work experience, with a degree qualification in engineering (e.g. mechanical, civil/structural, naval architecture, Geotechnical or similar).
Training and development will be provided to build a range of technical and professional skills within the naval department, which are necessary to work in our multi-disciplinary project based organisation covering a range of work locations. Whilst the role will predominantly be London based, some flexibility will be needed to undertake work in other offices and offshore sites at appropriate times.
Our Client encourages and supports all engineers in their professional development to achieve Chartered Engineer status.
