Design Engineer - Electrical, Mechanical, Structural

Based in Barrow-in-Furness multiple Design Engineers are required on a 12++ month contract basis to work for a Defence client.

Hourly Rates

Local Candidates: 22.12 PAYE or £29.19 Umbrella

Non-Local Candidates: £30.12 PAYE or £39.74 Umbrella

I'm looking for candidates with an Electrical, Mechanical or Structural background.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience of design in one or more of the following industries: Defence, Power Industry or Oil and Gas or similar industries
• Demonstrable ability at utilising 2D CAD design packages
• Ability to apply the relevant Engineering processes regarding the integration, of the relevant, systems and equipment within the 3D CAD Product Model
• Ideally experience or familiarity with FORAN package (or transferrable packages CADDS5 or Catia v5 or v6)
• Shipbuilding/marine experience preferred
