The Role:
They are looking for a Civil Engineer to join their Leeds office. You will work on a variety of projects spanning the commercial, retail, residential, industrial and scientific sectors.
Duties:
- Collaborating with the Civils Team to handle projects of various sizes.
- Developing infrastructure plans mainly for residential use but also for commercial, educational, and industrial sectors, involving designing underground drainage systems and roads that adhere to adoptable standards.
- Coordinating with regulatory agencies such as Water Companies, Environmental Agency, and County Roads Departments, etc.
- Demonstrating proficiency in utilising relevant technical analysis, design software, and AutoCAD.
- Ensuring that the technical output of the team, such as drawings and reports, maintains a consistent level of quality.
- Communicating professionally with colleagues, clients, contractors, and other designers to offer advice and guidance related to their work.
- Managing project work within agreed budgetary limits and timelines.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Must have minimum 5 years post-graduate experience as a Civil Engineer in the UK
- Experienced in the use of Sewers for adoption, SUDS, Micro Drainage, Highways, and Civils3D design, Windes, and Microdrainage.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Have a near Chartered status (MICE).
- Strong experience in Residential Developments
