Asset Class Engineering (ACE) Structural & Civils (C&S)

Job Description:

Leads the requirements for examination, evaluation, assessment and risk management of assets. Manage compliance of examination and evaluation of assets against requirements of standards. Provides engineering input to the standards and specifications for examinations and assessments. Maintain comprehensive and accurate asset records. Direct the implementation of monitoring systems and undertake the review of monitoring results and other control measures. Assist in writing remits and determining work bank items.

Duties:

* Assisting to draft asset management plans for various classes (types) of asset

* Collaboration with Asset Class Stewards and Regional Delivery to identify and classify assets in class

* Assist in reporting findings and recommendations to the 3* Defence Support

* Performance Board
Provide general advice and guidance to wider Technical Services.

Essential:

* Knowledge & experience of asset class operation and/or maintenance on large diverse multi-site portfolios.

* Knowledge & experience of analysing multiple source information undertaking option appraisals delivering strategic reports.

* Knowledge & experience of working within complex multi stakeholder programme environments.

* Expertise in this Asset Class of Infrastructure, equipment, and systems. (Structural & Civils (C&S)

Desirable:

* Knowledge & experience of preparing and presenting complex reports upon specific asset classes.

* Knowledge & experience of managing asset portfolios.
