This award winning structural design studio have an opportunity for a high achieving structural engineer to develop their career and skills with them on architecturally challenging projects.
They are widely recognised as an industry leading consultancy and are often sought out by high profile architectural practices. They operate a collaborative work environment, sharing ideas and skills is essential to how they see their design develop. An open mind with regards to teamworking and the ability to get on well in a design led environment is key. The practice have a diverse project portfolio across the UK, including heritage, commercial mixed use and leisure. Alongside their strong structural credentials they are also renowned for their focus on sustainability and it informs their approach to all their design solutions. Alongside the great work environment they offer outstanding support to achieve Chartership, 28 days holiday which further increases with length of service + bank holidays, bonus, training budget and professional subs paid.
You will most likely be an academic high flyer, with a 1st class degree from a red brick University (Or equivalent) and have a number of years since graduation working on architecturally complex structural projects. You will be interested in a range of structural design / analysis software and be comfortable working with all structural materials.
You will be able to demonstrate a passion for architecturally led buildings design work and a desire to work with top architects providing highly technical and innovative structural solutions. You must also be able to liaise with people so excellent communication skills are essential.
