We are currently recruiting for an award winning multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with a reputation for innovative and sustainable design. They provide structural, civil, geotechnical, environmental and transportation engineering design services, throughout the UK and overseas and have a vacancy in their Central London office for a highly motivated and experienced Project Structural Engineer to join the team there on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will enjoy working on technically challenging projects and will have a focus on the delivery of results to clients. Working as part of a team and reporting to a partner or Associate, you will take responsibility for the delivery of a variety of Structural Engineering projects and you will therefore be an enthusiastic and motivated person with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

Providing detailed technical input and ensuring quality of work output on projects requiring Detailed Structural Engineering Design,
Experience in a range of relevant analytical software packages, 3D modelling, Masterseries software is preferable but not essential,
Work to Eurocodes,
Conversant in proprietary softwares e.g masterseries, SCIA,
Recent experience of detailed design for a variety of Structural Projects,
Ability to manage time and work to deadlines,
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written English communication skills,
Ability to use experience from other projects,
Commitment to producing high quality work,
Commitment to continuous professional development,
Working towards Chartership of the Institution of Structural Engineers. Requirements:

A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent,
Between 3-4 years' relevant experience,
A questioning / challenging approach,
Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
Strong attention to detail,
Good decision making skills,
The ability to work and communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams,
