Civil Design Engineer
Location: York Salary : £36,000 - 40,000
Our client's company is experiencing a period of growth and they are currently looking to expand their team working from a busy office in York.
The company has been operating for over half a century now and is one of the best established consultancies in the UK. They are a strong team of highly skilled professionals looking for intermediate Civil Engineer to join their firm.
The Consultancy works on projects across many different sectors including residential, retail, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and education.
As a Civil Design engineer you will be responsible for delivering high quality infrastructure designs using Civils 3D, MicroDrainage and Revit, managing the work-load and assisting junior staff.

- Flood Risk Assessments
- Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems, soakaway design
- Foul Water drainage
- Design skills and good knowledge of Civils 3D and MicroDrainage
- Highway design and road drainage design - S38 and S278 Agreements (preferred)
- Project management and advising junior engineers
- Managing budgets, resources, and deadlines
- Liaising with clients and other professionals working on the project
