Senior Geotechnical Engineer

The position as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer will consist of all technical, commercial, financial management of projects as well as mentoring and developing Junior/Graduate Geotechnical Engineers.

Projects surround design and build of rail, building and infrastructure.

Technical responsibilities as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer surround both reporting, calculating and designing including; Site Investigation, Foundation & Pile Design, Retaining Wall Design, Basement Design, Earthworks Design/Specification, Temporary/Alternative Works Design, Rock and Soil Slope Stability Assessment, Rock and Soil Anchors, Soil Nails and Ground Improvement.

Senior Geotechnical Engineer Specification:

• Relevant engineering experience (4 to 8 years), including but not limited to design of piles, walls, soil nails, slopes and proficiency with industry design software such as Oaysis package, Wallap and Slope W.
• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• Chartered Member or committed to Chartership with the ICE or the Geotechnical Society or equivalent.
