Graduate Technical Engineer - construction materials.

We are delighted to be recruiting a Graduate Technical Engineer to join a market leading group that specialises in providing products and solutions/services for the construction industry. This opportunity will be Bristol based and will be working within a division that focuses on interior/exterior construction materials (passive fire protection, plaster/cement boards, fixings, support frames etc).

The successful Graduate Technical Engineer will work with and learn from the current team of Technical Engineers to work on a variety of projects ranging from product development and simulation/testing, to providing internal and external technical support on products/systems, to document creation/review and much more.

Graduate Technical Engineer duties will evolve with progress but will include:

* Working with and assisting the Technical Engineering team with a range of duties to understand the role and develop relevant knowledge and skills.

* Assist with product testing (fire testing, acoustic testing) and similar and log/report results.

* Review internal/external requests on products and services and provide corresponding documents/help files or similar.

* Communicate with internal teams and customers as required.

* Assist with technical development projects - simulations etc

* Assist with analysis and research and provide input for technical documents/communications (help, marketing materials etc).

* Review, maintain and improve technical information, documents, databases etc.

* Work as part of a team resolving technical issues on the companies range of products and systems.

Graduate Technical Engineer requirements:

* Hold A levels, and ideally a degree in an engineering or construction related field.

* Good IT skills.

* Good organisation and communication skills.

* Be reliable and have good attention to detail.

* Good problem-solving skills and an analytical approach.

* Experience working in customer service, engineering, construction, product testing or similar is advantageous but not essential.

* Live in/within a commutable distance of Bristol.
