Junior Civil Design Engineer

I have a brilliant opportunity for a Junior Civil Design Engineer to join one of London's top design consultancies, to work on high profile and exciting projects.

You will be joining an established Civil Design Engineering team in a high spec office. This is an open plan office with several floors, situated near Old Street Station. You will be working in a team of 15 and will collaborate with the rest of the company, which is a total of 150.

The team are working on a wide variety of projects, focused on estate roads and drainage design, using software such as Microdrainage and Civil 3D.

You must have some previous relevant work experience and a strong academic background.

The company really looks after its own and has recently become an employee-owned trust; each team has a representative who will feed back to the trust on queries or ideas for the direction of the business.

The team feel is added to by weekly whole office meetings where engineers and technicians have the opportunity to discuss their projects and offer help and guidance to each other. A professional chef caters free lunches for the whole office twice a week, and more frequently for other CPD sessions as well.
