Graduate Civil Engineer

Gray sare an established Engineering Consultancy with over 32 years in the industry, who have a successful track record working on various highway, SuDS, residential, commercial, industrial and educational type projects.

We take great pride and responsibility when engaging and promoting the decarbonisation / net zero carbon on New Build and Refurbishment projects. Due to repeat business and a series of large project commissions, our two teams are looking to expand and introduce new Construction Graduates / Civil Engineering Graduates to make their first foray into Engineering and to bolster our company.

About the role

Successful candidates will receive on the job training, coaching, and mentoring through our team of qualified Engineers, making sure that Graduates reach their full potential. We have recently relocated to the outskirts of Cardiff City centre in the wonderful Desg site. With Llandaff / Pontcanna fields just across the road, and the city centre just minutes away, our office is in a great location.

As a Graduate Civil & Structural Engineer, you will:

• Prepare calculation packs for tender / submissions to clients.
• Support the Senior Engineers in the delivery of projects.
• Perform site inspections and attend site meetings.
• Complete project design modelling (REVIT / Building Designer / AutoCAD / Civils 3D).

In return, you will receive a salary of £25,000 per annum.

About you

You will be a recent Construction Graduate, Civil Engineering Graduate or Structural Engineering Graduate with good AutoCAD skills.
