Water Hygiene Engineer sought, Exeter. Girling Jones require a Water Hygiene Engineer to join a progressive yet family owned business working throughout the southwest. We require a Water Hygiene Engineer based within the South West of the UK to oversee varied duties as listed below working across the region.

The successful applicant will be working within the businesses Water Hygiene department on a full-time basis. They will be responsible for all aspects of water hygiene services including:

Building and Incoming mains cleaning and disinfections
Cold water storage tank cleaning and inspections
Temperature monitoring
Shower head descaling and cleaning
Water testing and sampling
Thermostatic mixing value servicing and maintenance
Completing all relevant paperwork
Completing and adhering to water management plans
Changing of filters and dosing of closed systems
Microbial sampling
RPZ valve servicing
Cooling tower C&D
Calorifier inspections
All associated water hygiene tasks as set out in HSG274 part 1-3.
What you'll need to succeed,
Over and above water skills, we require a Water Hygiene Engineer with a can do, positive attitude with a desire to be part of a team and deliver outstanding services to their clients. Desirable Skills/Qualifications to include,

Previous experience in water hygiene or plumbing is an advantage
CSCS card
Asbestos awareness training
Working at height training
Manual handling training
WMSoc - Cleaning & Disinfection - W017 course
COSHH training
EUSR National Water Hygiene Card
In return, we are offering a broad salary ranging from £22,000 - £35,000 per annum, company van and fuel card, however this is very much negotiable for the right Engineer.
