Project Engineer / CAD Tech - Wind

Project Engineer/CAD Tech - Wind - North Cornwall - Up to £30k

Hunter Mason are looking for a motivated and organised Project Engineer/CAD Technician to work on our upcoming wind farm projects for our client based in North Cornwall.

My client design, build, and operate Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind Turbine renewable energy systems throughout the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Production of wind farm site layout drawings, access modifications, swept path analysis, legal and planning drawings
• Assisting with projects in development and under construction, striving to achieve the Highest Health, Safety and Quality standards
• Using design to reduce risk and ensure projects under development are both practically and financially feasible
• Provision of technical input to early stage and pre planning projects
• Commissioning of 3rd party technical services

Requirements

• Highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Vehicle Tracking software
• Basic knowledge of onshore wind development and construction processes
• Methodical, accurate and detail focussed approach
• Awareness of CDM regulations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Self motivated with the ability to prioritise and manage a demanding workload
• Flexibility to visit our sites throughout the UK

Desirables

• In depth knowledge of transport and construction methods as they relate to onshore wind projects
• Civil3D proficiency
• Surveying/setting out experience
• Full UK Driving Licence

Salary: Up to £30k
