This company are a Civil and Structural Engineering firm who provide consultancy based services to their public and private sector clients. They run projects within a variety of industries including Highways, Drainage, Infrastructure, Commercial, Residential, Education, Healthcare, Environmental and Surveying. Having grown throughout the pandemic and the recent winning of lucrative new contracts, they are now looking to recruit a Associate Director Structural Engineer to join their growing team.

In this role your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for control of financial, technical and project management of the structural engineering aspects of projects.
• Lead and develop project teams, supervising and training engineers and technicians.
• Mentoring, appraisal and development of team members.
• Liaise within internal and external stakeholders, representing the business in a professional and courteous way.
• Check calculations, specifications, drawings, and reports.
• Promote the use of sustainably and environmentally sound design procedures.

This role would therefore ideally suit an individual who has extensive experience working as a Structural Engineer within a consultancy environment. The successful candidate will be fully chartered with the desire to progress their career further in the future. You will also have strong experience in team management and proven experience in leading projects.
