Principal Civil Engineer

Principal Civil Engineer - required for our client who have offices in Oxfordshire. This role would have the options for Hybrid working. The Principal Civil Engineer will be working for an award-winning consultancy that is in a growth stage so the most successful applicant will have the chance to have use their business acumen to push the business even further.

The Principal Civil Engineer will be joining an established team that are involved in Site appraisals, feasibility studies as well as pre-application planning advice, technical support for outline and detailed planning applications and the approval of reserved matters, discharging planning conditions. They are also well adverse with the production of pre-planning reports, including Flood Risk Assessments, Foul Drainage & Utility Assessment. Principal Civil Engineer Position Requirements

BSc or BEng qualified within a Civil Engineering discipline
Minimum of 7 years' post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering design
Chartered (or working towards Chartership)
Expertise in infrastructure, highways and drainage design to deliver multi-disciplinary projects
Run projects from concept, feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction
Experience dealing with adoption agreements for roads and drainage
Expert in the use of relevant industry-standard design software packages
Experience of dealing with clients and other members of the professional team
An ability to communicate effectively, writing clear and concise emails, letters and reports
A good commercial awareness and experience of managing day to day project finances and instructions
Good Business acumen
