Principal Environmental Engineer- Water Resources

My client, a market leading, UK based Environmental and Flood Risk Consultancy, is searching for a Principal Environmental Engineer to join their specialist Team.

Applicants are required to have a BSc or MSc in a related discipline including Geography, Environmental Science or Environmental Management and vast have experience spanning Water Supply, Water Quality, Catchment Management, EIA, Water Resources and Pollution.

Candidates are required to have experience completing ES Chapters, Water Framework Directive Assessments and experience of pollution of water, soil and habitats.

As a Principal Engineer you will have the opportunity to complete varied Catchment Management, Water Resources, Water Quality, Pollution and Environmental projects for Wind, Solar, Hydropower and Transport Projects.

You will be expected to manage and grow the team, prepare bid proposals and complete and check technical work. You will be expected to complete;

-Water Framework Directive Assessments.

-Water Supply Risk Assessments.

-EIA Chapters.

-Pollution Prevention and Nutrient Neutrality.

-Water Quality Modelling.

-Peat Management and Landslide Assessments.

-Carbon Assessments.

-Geomorphology and Surface Water Management Plans.

You will also have the opportunity to work from the home 1-2 days a week and progress to Director level following one year of successful employment.
