Structural Design Engineer

My client was founded over thirty years ago, and have grown into one of London's leading Structural Engineering consultancies. Quality, innovation, excellence in design and cost efficiency is at the forefront of their objectives.

They have a vast experience in refurbishment projects, which include commercial as well as residential buildings. In addition, their experience extends in the design of new build structures, as well as design of specialist structural elements including structural glass.

My client is seeking a strong technically minded Structural Engineer with minimum 5 years of experiecne to join their team.

Candidates must have achieved at least a BEng 2:1, or better, in Civil Engineering (or something closely related). They are looking for someone with a keen interest and/or knowledge in most of the following areas of work:

1. Detailed design of reinforced concrete, steelwork, masonry and timber building structures

2. Design of glass structures

3. Structural steelwork connection design and detailing

4. Temporary works design

5. Letter and report writing

6. Site inspection and surveys
