Are you a Associate/Associate Director Civil Engineer who has what it takes to lead the Civils discipline at a consultancy?
Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing Civil, Structural & Highway engineering consultancy that specialises in industrial and logistics buildings including datacentres, and associated infrastructure. They are seeking an experienced Associate/Associate Director Civil Engineer to lead and develop their Civils team in Berkhamsted.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design of civil engineering schemes associated with developments throughout the UK, client management, and leading a small team of junior staff delivering infrastructure schemes. They will also be responsible for mentoring and supporting the development of junior staff, as well as contributing to the financial control of projects.

- A competent user and checker of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTrack and (ideally but not essential) MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow.
- Experienced with highway/drainage design associated with S278, S38, S104 agreements.
- Chartered/Incorporated Civil Engineer with relevant degree.
- A good communicator and skilled with people, with the ability to lead a team.
- Experienced in working with developers/contractors.
