First People Solutions is recruiting for a leading Consulting Engineer in the centre of Glasgow. As a result of an increased workload, they are looking for an experienced Principal/Associate Civil Engineer to lead the design of civil infrastructure across a range of Renewable Energy projects. The company is one of the top consultancies in this field and is seeking someone to lead the team.

In this role, you will lead the design of civil infrastructure across three core markets: renewables, grids & energy storage, and nuclear. This will include drainage design, earthwork design and roads/highways improvement.

What we need from you:

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with extensive Project management, Client management and Civil Infrastructure design experience.

Strong background in Civil Infrastructure design such as drainage, highways/roads, and earthworks
A background in within the Renewable energy sector would be desirable
Chartered status (CEng)
Conversant in industry relevant software
Proven experience working within a design engineering environment
Leading projects and client facing
