Girling Jones is working with a leading structural engineering consultancy, which is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join the team. They offer a range of services to clients across multiple sectors, including commercial, residential, and industrial.
As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers on various projects, ranging from small-scale renovations to large, complex developments. You will be responsible for the design, analysis, and construction of structural systems, as well as conducting site visits and liaising with clients.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have an excellent academic record. We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, hard-working, and eager to learn. Experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, is preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the design and analysis of structural systems
Attend site visits and liaise with clients
Prepare engineering reports and calculations
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, contractors and colleagues
Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure successful project delivery
Attend training and development programs to further enhance your technical knowledge and skills Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Excellent academic record
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with CAD software is preferred but not essential
