Structural Design Engineer

IDES Global Ltd is a leading engineering consultancy that provides innovative solutions to complex engineering problems. As part of our ongoing expansion, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in the UK office.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have a range of technical, managerial, and design coordination responsibilities, including:

• Technical reviews of work completed by our design team.
• Managing deliverables completed by our design team.
• Structural analysis and design to Euro codes.
• Liaising with clients to answer technical queries.
• Providing high-level design options and suggestions at the concept design stage with the assistance of senior staff.
• Communicating and managing projects with remote team members in Pune, India.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Excellent technical and project management skills.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
• Familiarity with Euro codes and structural analysis and design software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with steel frame structures is preferred but not essential, provided the candidate has a good rounded experience with building structure design.
