Structural Engineer/Senior Structural Engineer

£30,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
Emtech is working with a consultancy in Reading that are looking for a Structural Engineer or a Senior Structural Engineer to join them in Reading
They are looking for creative and ambitious structural engineers to join the team and grow with them. They are large enough to offer excellent career development but small enough that you will be able to manage your own projects from beginning to end and be integral to the growth plans of the consultancy.
What they are looking for:
3+ years' experience
A BEng or MEng Civil / Structural Engineering or Engineering Design and be a member of the relevant body such as the IStructE.
A knowledge of steel, concrete, timber and load bearing masonry structures
The ability to design to British Standards or Eurocodes.
Experience with computer software is desirable - notably TEKLA Structural Designer, Robot and TEDDS.
Experience across several sectors. Their projects are in a range of materials across the commercial, educational, residential, health and leisure sectors.
Some experience of conceptual design, project management including programming works and a desire to develop mentoring and coaching skills.
Excellent communication skills with a positive working attitude.What they offer:
