Civil Engineer (Highways and Drainage Design) - Bristol - £Negotiable
Our client are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team.
The successful Civil Engineer will be responsible for delivering a wide range of highway and drainage design projects, using their expertise in the field to ensure high-quality results.
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage the construction of highways and drainage systems
- Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Undertake site inspections and surveys
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Manage and mentor junior members of the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Extensive experience in highways and drainage design
- Proficient in the use of relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Full driving license
