The Senior Engineer serves as Project Manager and Leader for complex projects; conducts technical analysis, research, and design for a variety of capital improvement, major maintenance, and/or other Water Authority projects; the position will plan, organize, supervise, and review the work of assigned professional and technical staff. The Senior Engineer is responsible for developing and managing contracts and supervising a team of engineers. The ideal candidate will have the ability to balance mentoring, supervising, and leading technical teams, while performing project related work. This person is technically sound with experience completing engineering designs as the Engineer of Record and has knowledge of hydraulic principals, design process, quality assurance/quality control, and construction methods.

 

Construction Management

The Senior Construction Manager serves as construction coordinator for complex projects; conducts technical analysis, research, and construction management for a variety of capital improvement, major maintenance, and /or other Water Authority projects; plans, organizes, supervises, and reviews the work of assigned professional and technical staff; and performs related duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of construction inspection techniques, design principals for pipelines and flow control facilities, construction techniques and construction contract administration.
