Looking for a Field Service Engineer within the Water Purification Industry. Our client is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team, providing field service engineering support to customers across the Midlands (Birmingham, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Staffordshire).

As a field service engineer, your primary responsibilities include taking responsibility for the service and maintenance of site-based water purification systems, including ADEPT design and other manufacturers' equipment, as well as producing timely service reports, conducting site surveys, and maintaining van stocks and company property.

This position is a full time permanent position, the hours are yet to be confirmed but it will be Monday to Friday on a Day Shift. Overtime will be available but through arrangement and you will be working shifts/scheduled.

Salary
£28,000 - £36,000 a year

Main Duties:
Take responsibility for the Service and Maintenance of Site based Systems (ADEPT design and other manufacturers' equipment).

When required, assistance leading to responsibility for (occasional build), install and commission of ADEPT Pure Water Systems.

Responsibility for the timely production of Service Reports.

Site Surveys / System specifications / Fault Finding & Breakdown
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of Van Stocks and Company property.

Depending on experience the training of Apprentice Engineers
Working to various standards including ISO9001 & ISO14001

Excellent adherence to Health and Safety Practices.
Other duties as required.

Systems include but not limited to
Reverse Osmosis, De-ionisers, Water Softeners, Filters, UV filtration, pumps, associated chemicals and consumables and other manufacturers equipment.

Person Specification
Skilled Engineer

The ability to explain ideas clearly, have excellent communication and reporting skills (both verbally and in writing).

Have strong decision-making skills with the ability to prioritise and plan effectively.

Work to high standards and have a strong attention to detail.
Able to work accurately in accordance to instructions, designs and specifications.

Quick learner, not afraid to ask questions and learn from experience.

The ability to analyse complex problems logically and assess suitable, cost efficient solutions.

Ideal Qualifications
City & Guilds (Or Equivalent) in Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical subjects.

Salary exceeds National Minimum Wage and as such will be negotiated with the right candidate, dependent upon skills, experience and internal grading.
