Position: Senior Project Structural Engineer Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £40,000 - £47,000 per annum

As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Project Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview: As a Senior Project Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the structural engineering aspects of our projects. You will collaborate closely with the project management team, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of our construction projects. Your expertise and technical knowledge will be instrumental in ensuring structural integrity, compliance with regulations, and the implementation of best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the structural engineering design process from concept through to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

* Provide technical guidance and expertise to the project team, including architects, contractors, and subcontractors.

* Conduct thorough site inspections, structural assessments, and feasibility studies.

* Prepare detailed engineering calculations, reports, and specifications.

* Collaborate with the project management team to develop project timelines, budgets, and resources.

* Oversee the work of junior engineers and provide mentorship and guidance when required.

* Liaise with regulatory authorities and obtain necessary approvals and permits.

* Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and propose effective solutions.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

* Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartered status.

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in structural engineering within the construction industry.

* Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

* Proficiency in structural design software and tools.

* Excellent project management and organizational skills.

* Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
