Job Title: Civil Engineer
Location: Glasgow, UK
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000, 32 days annual leave, hybrid working, training and support plus more.
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer based in Glasgow who has a proven track record of delivering designs for various infrastructures projects of varying size.
The successful candidate will be expected to work on a range of projects, managing project delivery from design to construction and handover while maintaining the highest standards in quality, safety, and sustainability.
The ideal candidate will have UK experience working on small to large infrastructural projects.
You should be self-motivated, committed to delivering high-quality works on time, and be confident working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver conceptual and detailed designs for large building structures.
Prepare design calculations, tender documents, and specifications.
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure coordinated designs.
Participate in design reviews and risk assessments to identify and solve any potential issues.
Supervise works on-site and ensure adherence to design specifications and construction standards.
Develop client relationships and provide technical advice to clients as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a relevant discipline UK experience working on large building structures.
Near Chartered Engineer status, or willingness to work towards this.
Demonstrated experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and MicroStation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good organisational and time management skills.
