Structural Engineer
Maidstone
£35k-£50k
A structural engineer is required to join a well established firm of Engineers and Surveyors based in Maidstone. You will be joining a highly qualified team, where there will be excellent future career progression and development. The firm is a friendly and flexible family run business, offering a supportive workplace.
You must have a car and good communication skills as the role will involve attending site visits as well as hands on design. Projects are very varied ranging from very small up to around £10m in build value. Work includes design for public sector buildings, residential schemes, basements, commercial buildings and industrial projects, both new build and refurb.
You should be able to draw and also design in all the main materials. Experience with Etabs and SAP would be useful but not essential.
In addition to basic salary there is a pension scheme, 24 days holiday, regular socials, excellent CPD, training for Chartership (if not already achieved) and flexible working with some days from home.
