Civil Engineering Project Manager - EHV Contracting - Base salary up to £65,000 + performance-related bonus up to 50% + £6K car allowance - Bristol, England, UK
This is a critical role for a market leading EHV ICP who specialise in 66KV and 132 KV turnkey projects for solar energy and battery storage projects (BESS). The company is very well established and growing rapidly to deliver a massive pipeline of projects. Sales turnover is expected to more than double in the next 12 months.
About You
We're looking for an ambitious, high-calibre operations professional who will be responsible for overseeing the civil engineering construction scope of a project on behalf of the company from conception through to completion and oversee a wide range of construction projects.
All elements below include both grid connection and private/balance of plant projects and range from LV (Low Voltage) through to 132kv.
You should have strong experience, high levels of competence, high energy levels, and a calm professional approach that's effective under the inevitable high-pressure of delivering critical projects.
The role will be hybrid with training delivered in Bristol and some office visits to Bristol after this time, with some travel as required to visit sites, meet suppliers etc.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- AHNC (Higher National Certificate) or equivalent in Civil Engineering management qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Project Management within construction
- Strong attention for detail and the ability to read and understand Civil construction drawing
- High level of numerical and IT skills including Microsoft word and Excel
- Familiar with contract and sub-contract documents terms and conditions
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to act on own initiative and make decisions under pressure

- Previous job role working for an ICP (Independent Connection Provider)
- Previous job role working for a DNO (Distribution Network Operator)
- HNC/HND Electrical Engineering
- APM/Prince 2
