Senior Civil Engineer
Bristol
Salary 40-50k
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Structural Engineer to join a well-respected multi-disciplinary Consultancy working in Bristol.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civil Engineering and hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and have a good understanding of appropriate software packages including CAD, PDS or Civil3D and MicroDrainage / FLOW. You will be delivering a range of projects (residential, education, community and health, heritage, universities and colleges) and procurement methods; traditional, design and construct contracts.
The role requires you to study and assess drawings, plans, specifications and other documents relating to construction projects as well as to determine budget, project schedules and scope of work and deploy appropriate staff. You will direct, lead and support other engineering and skilled personnel in managing and executing multiple tasks and projects plus collaborate and interact with construction teams, architects and outside project developers and consultants.
You will have experience in private and adoptable drainage design, knowledge of the planning, specification, design, procurement and commissioning of projects and experience of earthworks and external level designs including 3D analysis. Possessing sound knowledge of current legislation and able to work in accordance with QA and H&S procedure, you will have an experienced level of decision making and ability to prioritise and manage conflicting internal and external demands.
