Job Title: Experienced Electrical Design Engineer - MEICA (Yorkshire Water Framework)
Company Overview: We are working with a leading engineering consultancy firm that specialises in providing innovative solutions to the water and wastewater industry. We are currently looking for an Experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team and work on projects within the Yorkshire Water Framework.
Role Overview: As an Experienced Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing detailed electrical designs and solutions for water and wastewater projects. You will work closely with our clients and project teams to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience working in the water and wastewater industry, with a strong background in electrical design and an understanding of MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) systems.
Responsibilities:
* Produce high-quality electrical design drawings and specifications for water and wastewater projects
* Ensure designs meet client requirements, relevant standards, and regulations
* Work closely with project teams to ensure designs are delivered on time and within budget
* Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions
* Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning phases of projects
* Participate in design reviews and technical meetings with clients and project teams
* Requirements:
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry
* Strong background in electrical design, with a good understanding of MEICA systems
* Proficient in AutoCAD and/or other design software
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage & work in a team environment
* Willingness to travel to project sites as required
