Structural Engineer
London E1
£32k-£38k
Award winning, innovative and creative structural design studio seeks a high calibre structural engineer to join their London team.
The role would suit someone with a 2.1 or 1st class degree from a Russell Group University and one to three years of buildings structural design experience in practice. Excellent communication skills, a desire to progress and work as part of an active and social team are essential.
They are a cool and innovative medium sized practice with 35 staff split across 2 offices. They give excellent training for Chartership and work on a projects ranging from small up to £100m in build value. They do a lot of funky projects in the rock and pop industry, including international work. Examples include things like temporary staging for concerts, festivals, sculptures and installations, as well as the more mainstream buildings structures work such as schools, social housing projects etc.
Work is on a 9 day fortnight basis, with the day of your choice off work - so lots of extra time off with this firm. They have a high proportion of Chartered Engineers, excellent training for Chartership and a good benefits package including healthcare, annual trip abroad, fees paid for Chartership, excellent bonus and enhanced pension scheme.
