Job Title: Structural Engineer

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + 32 days annual leave, 5% pension, hybrid working.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our clients establish team in Edinburgh.

The perfect candidate will have extensive experience working on large building structures such as commercial units, industrial structures, residential buildings, and retail facilities within the UK and be nearing Chartership.

Responsibilities:

Involved in the structural design of large-scale building projects.
Collaborate with other engineers and designers to ensure design accuracy and efficiency.
Analyse complex engineering problems and develop practical, cost-effective solutions.
Produce detailed structural calculations and drawings using relevant software packages.
Communicate with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in civil/Structural Engineering.
Significant experience working on large building structures within the UK.
Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla essential.
Nearing Chartership with a relevant engineering body (i.e., ICE or IStructE)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
