Location: Leeds
Salary: £40,000 - 60,000
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancies in their Leeds branch?
This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding geotechnical/geoenvironmental team of expert engineers and consultants, work on large, innovative projects across the rail, commercial and infrastructure sectors and further your professional development.
This Principal Geotechnical Engineer offers:

Hybrid workingThe suitable Principal Geotechnical engineer with be educated to degree level in civil engineering/geology, have Chartered Engineer status (or working towards), significant UK consultancy experience and strong technical and management skills. You must have a full UK drivers' licence and live local to Leeds.
The main duties of this Principal Geotechnical Engineer role include:
Producing geotechnical designs, alongside the civils and structural teams, for foundations, retaining walls/structures and surface water attenuation tanks
Liaising with clients and regulators
Reviewing ground investigation reports
Offer technical assistance throughout all phases of projects.
Expanding the geotechnical team
