The responsibilities of the role include:

The production of highways drawings, calculations, reports and design documents.
Supporting clients' understanding and awareness of the S278 / S38 legal agreements process and guiding them from initial appointment to signing of the agreement and construction.
Co-ordinating utility diversions associated with S278 works.
Managing appropriate projects with full liaison with clients and third parties.
Responsible for planning and reviewing the production of drawings, calculations, reports and design documents by others.
Coordinating with project engineers, engineering technicians and senior team involved in scheme delivery.
Reviewing project briefs / fee proposals to appropriately allocate resource and programme works for delivery with scope of agreed works, whilst being aware of additional work opportunities. Support development of project cost estimates.
Awareness of design guides and standards.
Identifying and managing risks within areas of responsibility.
Complete site visits to review project constraints and the construction process as required within schemes.We'd love to hear from you if have the following:

Several years of experience in the production of highways drawings, calculations, reports and design documents.
Independent proficiency with Civils software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage).
Working knowledge of DMRB for Local Highways Authorities/National Highways.
An understanding of National Joint Utility Guidelines (NJUG), C2 & C3 Utility Diversions.
