Our client are looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join their team based in their Leeds office.

The client, a prestigious engineering firm is seeking a talented Structural Design Engineer to join their dynamic team.

The Opportunity:

As a Structural Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our built environment. You will be at the forefront of designing innovative and sustainable structures that stand the test of time. Collaborating with a team of brilliant minds, you'll be involved in high-profile projects, ranging from towering skyscrapers to iconic bridges, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in structural design.

What You'll Do:

Design and analyze building structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Develop detailed structural plans, calculations, and construction documents.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to translate design concepts into practical, safe, and efficient structures.
Utilize state-of-the-art software and tools to model and simulate structural behavior.
Conduct site visits to assess structural integrity and provide technical guidance during construction.About you:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Strong background in building structures design and analysis.
Proficiency in structural design software, such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar.
Solid understanding of industry codes and standards, including ACI, AISC, and IBC.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
