Graduate Structural Engineer

Graduate Structural Engineer - Required for our client based just outside of Nottingham close to the Tram stop. The Graduate Structural Engineer will be working on a range of projects within the Residential and Commercial sector working on beams to complex structures. The Graduate Structural Engineer will be working in design in steel, concrete, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber.

This Structural Engineer will have a 2:1 or higher in a Structural engineering degree or similar. My client is looking for a newly graduated Structural Engineer up to someone with 3 years' experience. Ii would be advantageous if the Structural Engineer has some knowledge of Structural Calculations and any previous experience within the residential projects.

Graduate Structural Engineer Position Overview

• Structural design in steel, concrete, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber
• From steelwork assessments and concrete assessments, through to desktop reports
• Site Visits and Client Meetings
• Running own projects with an internal design team of supporting Engineers and CAD Technicians as required

Graduate Structural Engineer Position Requirements

• MEng in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
• Ideally wanting to work towards becoming a Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE)
• UK Driving Licence
• Ability to develop relationships and work closely with other stakeholders
• Live in Nottinghamshire
