Civil Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team.

This role requires a candidate with a relevant experience in civil engineering, particularly in the areas of SuDS (Sustainable Drainage Systems), surface and foul water drainage design, flood risk assessments, and working on and completing S278 and S38 agreements with Borough Councils. Additionally, familiarity with S104 agreements and proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Micro Drainage or Causeway Flow is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver high-quality designs for SuDS, surface, and foul water drainage systems.
• Conduct flood risk assessments to evaluate and mitigate potential risks.
• Coordinate and complete S278 and S38 agreements with Borough Councils to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Manage S104 agreements effectively to meet project requirements.
• Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow for design and analysis purposes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments as necessary.

Requirements:

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Relevant experience in civil engineering with a focus on SuDS, drainage design, flood risk assessments, and agreements with Borough Councils.
• Proficiency in using software tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Micro Drainage or Causeway Flow.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
