Role: Civil Project Engineer
Location: Annan, Dumfries & Galloway (4 days/week on site)
IR35: Inside
Rate: £38.01/hr (Umbrella)
Duration: 24 Months
Key Deliverables:
Identify project functional requirements and stakeholder needs for assigned project.
Develop concept design and fit for purpose engineering solutions
Produce, review or approve project technical specifications.
Manage detailed design activities in accordance with design authority standards, and CDM regulations.
Prepare modification proposals as required and act as a Nominated Responsible Engineer (NRE) for plant modifications.
Qualifications and Experience:
HNC, Civil Engineering Degree or National Qualifications Framework (NQF) level5/6 (Essential).
Conventional project engineering experience (Essential)
Understanding of relevant national engineering standards (Essential)
Experience of managing aging infrastructure and civil assets (Essential)
Assessment of the interim civils determination for an instructed period. Holding the account for the delivery of existing and future delivery plans. Assess and evaluate asset management policies and the effectiveness of their application. Hold operators to account for the delivery of maintenance and renewal activities where these are included in franchise obligations. Monitor activity levels for civil engineering maintenance, renewal expenditure and volume delivery. Monitor infrastructure condition and challenge any failure to meet regulatory outputs.
