The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Civils' Site Engineer to work on a new build Open Cycle Gas Turbine project in Eye, Suffolk for the Civils Main Contractor. The Civils' Site Engineer will act as the Main Technical Advisor for the complete life cycle of this project.

Roles Responsibilities:

Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
Ensure that all materials used and all activities performed are in accordance with the specifications
Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client
Assess potential risks, materials and costs
Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
Liaise with the local authority (if necessary) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations
Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
Plan and organize the work efficiently in order to meet agreed deadlines
Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site
Monitor progress and compile reports in project status
Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.Qualifications and certificates:

Civil Engineering degree is essential.
SSSTS or SMSTS (Desirable)
CSCS Card.
Over 5 years' experience working across multiple power projects.
