Organisational Background
As part of our commitment to sustainability and energy management, we are seeking a highly skilled Energy Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UK. This role will be responsible for driving energy and sustainability initiatives, identifying cost reduction opportunities, and implementing impactful solutions for our clients portfolios.
Join a world-wide integrated real estate management organisation with a UK team of 2,500 employees, and a global team of 100,000+ employees.
Role Responsibilities
* Support implementation of energy and sustainability initiatives for assigned site/region/account
* Analyze energy and water conservation measures and identify cost reduction opportunities
* Collaborate with clients, client account teams
* Conduct on-site and remote energy and sustainability assessments for client portfolios
* Develop impactful and scalable energy and carbon reduction initiatives
* Utilize network of contractors/suppliers/vendors for site audits and financial calculations
* Calculate energy savings and ROI for Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) and Water Conservation Measures (WCMs)
* Apply in-depth understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices
* Set department deadlines and make informed decisions
Previous Experience
* Energy survey or energy audit experience (ESOS desirable)
* Understand HVAC system to identify energy saving opportunities
* Using carbon reporting, eg, SECR
* Carrying out energy data analysis
Qualifications
* Additional Information: Bachelors degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university (Masters degree preferred)
* Preferred fields of study: Mechanical Engineering, HVAC
* Minimum of 4 years of related experience and/or training
