Are a Geotechnical Engineer (Rail) looking to work on a wide variety of complex rail schemes for a global leading design consultancy, situated on the outskirts of South London?

As a Geotechnical Engineer (Rail), you will have the opportunity to work for an international design consultancy leader but at the same time be situated within a smaller satellite office, within a small Geotechnical design team focussing on rail projects within the UK and internationally. You will come in as a Geotechnical Engineer (Rail), sat alongside a wealth of experience delivering rail projects throughout all phases including extremely complex design through to construction.

Using industry software and innovative techniques, you will be involved in the design and construction from deep/shallow foundations to earth retaining structures, slopes, retaining walls and everything in between.

To be considered for this Geotechnical Engineer (Rail) position, you must have:

BEng/Meng in Civil Engineering, ideally coupled with a Geotechnical/Soil/Geology MSc.
Experience writing up desk studies, geotechnical reports with proven design experience.
Ability to manage projects and cost control.
Member of an appropriate professional organisation and be at or working towards becoming chartered.
Valid UK driving licence. If you would like to know more on this, please contact Cory Taylor on Calibre Search Manchester.
