We are looking to speak to Structural Engineers with over six years of experience working in a Structures position. The consultancy is a well-established Chartered Structural practise in an accessible part of Bristol. They work on projects with values of £50,000 - £5M across commercial, conservation, eco buildings, residential, community and have even contributed to the Brit Awards!

They developed their own office space to create an open plan, vibrant and contemporary working space. Their projects and their ethos has a big focus on the environment.

The Role…

* Produce structural scheme design on a variety of projects

* Carry out design and analysis of structural elements and frames in main structural materials to current Eurocodes or British Standards, for residential and commercial structures

* Produce or oversee clearly presented calculation reports for submission to Building Control for approval

* Produce or oversee the production of general arrangements, details and section drawings using AutoCAD

* Produce hand drawn schemes, typical details & sections

* Train, and mentor Graduate and Junior engineers within the practice

Who You'll Be…

* Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering, Chartered Engineer with MIstructE or MICE or working towards achieving Chartered status

* Extensive knowledge of the Eurocodes and knowledge of the equivalent BS codes for the main structural materials

* Understanding of the CDM Regulations

* Competent in technical software such as TEDDS/Robot, AutoCAD/Revit and Bluebeam as well as Microsoft Office suite
