We are recruiting a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Glasgow to join our client an international multi discipline consultancy. The role sits within their Ground Engineering team with hybrid working.
As part of the Ground Engineering team you will contribute to delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across a range of sectors including renewables, highways, water, rail and development infrastructure. Providing geotechnical design services across all project stages from feasibility studies, ground investigations, geotechnical interpretation, preliminary and detailed design, and supervision for geotechnical construction works.
Required:
You will have strong analytical skills and expertise of earthworks and structures.
Able to deliver detailed design analysis and specification of engineering solutions.
Able to organise and prioritise your/team workload to achieve timescales and budgets
Planning skills with ability to find innovative and practical engineering solutions
Qualifications:
Relevant degree or equivalent BEng/MEng in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
Geologist (CGeol)
